Liability Waiver & Assumption of Risk
I acknowledge that participation in sports and recreational activities involves inherent risks, including but not limited to physical injury, property damage, or other harm. By submitting my registration, I voluntarily assume all risks associated with participation and agree to release and discharge ScotiaBeach, its officers, employees, and volunteers from any and all claims, liabilities, or expenses arising from participation, except in cases of gross negligence or willful misconduct. I confirm that I am physically fit and have no medical condition that would prevent safe participation. I understand this waiver applies to all activities organized by ScotiaBeach.
Photo/Video Consent
I grant ScotiaBeach permission to capture and use photographs, video recordings, and digital images of me (or my child, if applicable) for promotional purposes, including but not limited to websites, social media, printed materials, and media releases. I waive any right to inspect or approve the finished product and release ScotiaBeach from any claims related to the use of these images. This consent is voluntary and may be withdrawn at any time by contacting scotiabeachvball@gmail.com.
